SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - They are the 3rd Battalion 160th Special Operation Aviation Regiment, also called the Night Stalkers. We don't see them very often and almost never at work, but on Friday we went to a very public ceremony to honor the men who so often serve in the shadows of Special Forces soldiers.
You don't hear much about their missions because they are top secret. Their families don't even know and the men often leave in the middle of the night at a moment's notice.
The 1-60 Special Operations Aviation Regiment stood in front of their families and friends at Hunter Army Airfield to receive high honors.

To all of those who protect our freedom, we salute you!
