Halloween Safety Starts at Home

Keep your little ghosts and goblins safer this All Hallows Eve!
  • Make sure shoes and costumes fit well in order to prevent falling, entanglement and fire hazards.
  • Consider non-toxic makeup or a festive hat as a safe alternative to a mask, which can limit or block eyesight.
  • Purchase only flame resistant costumes and accessories.
  • Clear a path to your front door. Be sure to eliminate flower pots, tree limbs, electrical wires or garden hoses that may be an obstacle for children rushing from door to door.
  • Test your flashlight and replace old batteries.
  • Make sure your children know their phone number. Teach them to dial 9-1-1 in case of emergency or if they lose their way home.
From all of us at Fred Williams, we wish you a safe and spooktacular Halloween!
